Kag Bhusandi lake Trek
The Kag Bhusandi Lake Trek is a scenic trek located in the Uttarakhand region of India. It is known for its breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, lush meadows, and pristine alpine lakes. The trek typically starts from the village of Munsiyari and takes you through dense forests, charming villages, and high-altitude landscapes. The main attraction of the trek is the Kag Bhusandi Lake, a stunning glacial lake surrounded by towering peaks. The trek is moderately challenging, and it usually takes around 6-7 days to complete the entire circuit. It’s a great option for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers looking to explore the remote and beautiful Himalayan region. As with any trek, it’s essential to be well-prepared and have the necessary permits and equipment for a safe and enjoyable experience
Day 1 –
Start the drive from Haridwar to Joshimath/Auli that will take 8-9 hours.
Day 2 –
Travel from Joshimath to Bhyundar village and the journey will take 3-4 hrs trek.
Day 3 –
From Bhyundar Village, start trekking to Gairgilla (2980m) and Samartoli (3170m).
Today you will trek for 5-6 hours.
Day 4 –
Trek from Samartoli to Dang Kharak (3400m) and then to Raj Kharak (3900m.
The total time you will take is 5-6 hours.
Day 5 –
Begin today’s trek from Raj Kharak to reach Kankul Khal (4960m) and then Kak Bhushandi Tal (4730m).
The total time will be 7-8 hours for today’s trek.
Day 6 –
From Kak Bhushandi Tal, start trekking toward Brahmahi khal (4900m) and from there to Jhari kharak.
It will take 6-7 hours to complete today’s trek.
Day 7 –
From Jhari Kharak, you will go to Faraswan Pass, Painka Road and then head to Vishnuprayag – (2450m).
You will get a drive for 2 hours to Joshimath afterwards.
In total, you will travel for 7 hours today.
Day 8 –
Drive from Joshimath to Dehradoon will take 8-9 hours and this is where you trip concludes.
Accommodation: 2 Nights in a Hotel / Homestay in Joshimath on a triple-sharing basis. 3 Nights Tented Accommodation on a triple sharing basis.
Transportation: Surface transfer from Rishikesh – Joshimath – Rishikesh by Sumo / Bolero / Tempo Traveler (Depending on the number of travelers).
Meals: All vegetarian meals from day 1st Dinner to day 6th Breakfast.
Snacks: Morning / Evening Tea / Coffee with light snacks and soup while on the trek.
Camping logistics: Tent, Sleeping bags, Mattresses, Dining tent.
Trek Leader: Qualified and Experienced Trek leader and support staff.
Permits: All necessary fees and permits.
Trekking Equipment: Gaiters, Micro Spikes, and Rope if required.
Safety Equipment: Basic First Aid kit with Oximeter and Oxygen Cylinder.

Cancelling prior 1-6 days from trek dates – 100% deduction As all arrangements are made by transhimalaya and we are set to take you on a trek.
