- The trek usually starts from Govindghat and passes through places like Ghangaria, where trekkers stay overnight.
- July to September is the best time to visit when the flowers are in full bloom.
Hemkund Sahib:
- Situated at an elevation of about 4,329 meters (14,200 feet), Hemkund Sahib is a Sikh pilgrimage site with a beautiful glacial lake.
- Devotees visit the Gurudwara to seek blessings and enjoy the serene surroundings.
- The trek to Hemkund Sahib is relatively steep and requires a moderate level of fitness.

Day 1: Rishikesh to Joshimath
Depart from Rishikesh early morning.
Enjoy scenic drive to Joshimath.

Reach Joshimath by evening.
Check into accommodation, rest and prepare for the trek.
Day 2: Joshimath to Ghangaria
Start early for Govindghat from Joshimath.
Trek from Govindghat to Ghangaria.
Explore Ghangaria in the evening.
Overnight stay at Ghangaria.
Day 3: Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers
Begin the trek to Valley of Flowers early morning.
Spend the day exploring the breathtaking Valley.
Take in the diverse flora and enjoy photography.
Return to Ghangaria in the evening.
Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkund Sahib
Trek to Hemkund Sahib, a revered Sikh shrine.
Experience the serene surroundings at the high-altitude lake.
Descend back to Ghangaria in the afternoon.
Overnight stay at Ghangaria.
Day 5: Ghangaria to Joshimath
Trek down to Govindghat.
Drive back to Joshimath.
Relax and unwind in Joshimath.
Day 6: Joshimath to Rishikesh
Depart from Joshimath after breakfast.
