Dayara bugyal Trek

The Dayara Bugyal Trek is a popular trekking destination in Uttarakhand, India. It offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks, lush meadows, and dense forests. The trek usually starts from the village of Barsu and takes you through picturesque landscapes, including vast meadows at Dayara Bugyal, which are especially stunning during spring and summer with blooming wildflowers. Day 1 : Drive from Dehradun to Raithal (180 Kilometers, 7 Hours )
  • The group will assemble at the pickup point at¬†7:30 AM.
  • Afterward, we’ll drive towards¬†Raithal¬†which is the starting point for the Dayara Bugyal Trek.
  • Upon our arrival in Raithal, we’ll check into our designated stays.

Note: The pick-up point will be Dehradun ISBT. 

Day 2 : Trek from Raithal to Chelapada via Gui (8 Kilometers, 6 Hours)
  • After early morning breakfast, we’ll start our trekking journey and head towards the¬†Chelapada.
  • The entire trail is adorned by oak forests and picturesque views making it a visual treat to the eyes. Upon reaching¬†Chelapada, we’ll check into our campsites followed by lunch.
  • The rest of the day is at leisure but trekkers are advised to go for an acclimatization walk.
  • Dinner is followed by an overnight stay in camps.
 
Day 3 : Chelapada to Dayara Bugyal | Back to Chelapada (12 Kilometers, 9 Hours)
  • After early morning breakfast, we’ll start our trek and head to¬†Dayara Bugyal viewpoint¬†which offers stunning view of the Bandarpoonch, Black peak, Draupadi ka Danda and more.
  • The entire trail consists of lush green meadows that open up to provide picturesque views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, we’ll have packed lunch at the¬†Dayara Bugya Top.
  • After spending some time at the summit, we’ll head back to Chelapada campsite. The rest of the day is at leisure.
  • Dinner followed by overnight stay in camps.
 
Day 4 : Trek from Chelapada to Raithal (8 Kilometers, 6 Hours) Drive to Dehradun (180 Kilometers, 7 Hours)
  • After early morning breakfast, we’ll check out of our campsite and descend towards¬†Raithal Village.¬†
  • We’ll drive back to Dehradun via Uttarkashi with the picturesque Himalayan hamlets passing by.
  • Upon arrival in¬†Dehradun,¬†the group will part ways with fond memories of the trek.
 

Accommodation: 2 Nights in a Hotel / Homestay in Joshimath on a triple-sharing basis. 3 Nights Tented Accommodation on a triple sharing basis.

Transportation: Surface transfer from Rishikesh РJoshimath РRishikesh by Sumo / Bolero / Tempo Traveler (Depending on the number of travelers).

Meals: All vegetarian meals from day 1st Dinner to day 6th Breakfast.

Snacks: Morning / Evening Tea / Coffee with light snacks and soup while on the trek.

Camping logistics: Tent, Sleeping bags, Mattresses, Dining tent. 

Trek Leader: Qualified and Experienced Trek leader and support staff.

Permits: All necessary fees and permits.

Trekking Equipment: Gaiters, Micro Spikes, and Rope if required.

Safety Equipment: Basic First Aid kit with Oximeter and Oxygen Cylinder.

Guide ratio: 1:10

For a Himalayan trek, consider packing the following essentials:

Warm clothing (thermal layers, fleece, down jacket) waterproof and windproof outer layers (jacket and pants) sturdy hiking boots with good ankle support Backpack with a rain cover
sleeping bag suitable for cold temperatures Sleeping pad/mattress for insulation Hat, gloves, and scarf sunglasses and sunscreen for high-altitude protection
water bottles and water purification method (filters or tablets) high-energy snacks and food for the trek first aid kit with essential medications and blister care items
trekking poles for better stability and support Headlamp or flashlight with extra batteries personal toiletries and wet wipes Multi-tool or pocket knife
camera and spare memory cards for capturing memories personal identification and necessary permits for the trek

Cancelling¬† prior 21 days from trek start date ‚Äď 10% deduction charges, 90% is refunded.

Cancelling prior 15-20 days from trek start date ‚Äď 30% deduction towards GST, Transaction, accommodation at Base, ration, etc.¬† 70% is refunded.

Cancelling prior 7-14 days from trek dates ‚Äď 50% deduction towards GST, Transaction, accommodation at Base, ration, Trekleaders, permits, equipment etc. 50% is refunded.

Cancelling prior 1-6 days from trek dates ‚Äď 100% deduction As all arrangements are made by transhimalaya and we are set to take you on a trek.
