Auli gorson bugyal Trek
The Auli Gorson Bugyal Trek is a popular trekking route in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks and lush green meadows, known as bugyals. The trek starts from Auli, a famous ski resort, and takes you through picturesque landscapes, dense forests, and charming villages.
The route includes some moderate to challenging sections, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced trekkers. It typically takes around 4 to 5 days to complete the trek, depending on the chosen itinerary. During the trek, you’ll pass through stunning locations like Gorson Bugyal, Chitrakantha, and Tali Top.
The panoramic views of majestic peaks like Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Dronagiri are a highlight of the trek. Additionally, the opportunity to experience the local culture and interact with the friendly villagers adds a unique charm to the journey.
Before embarking on the Auli Gorson Bugyal Trek, it’s essential to be well-prepared with proper trekking gear, physical fitness, and necessary permits. It’s advisable to go with a knowledgeable guide or a reputable trekking company for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Day 1: Drive from Dehradun to Auli
The vehicle will be arranged from Dehradun Railway Station and the departure time is 6:30 am. The journey is a picturesque one along the Alaknanda, Mandakini and Ganga Rivers.
Reaching Auli will take around 10 to 11 hours and their arrangements will be made in a hotel or a guest house.
Day 2 : Rest Day for Acclimatization hiking near Auli
Day 3 : Trek from Auli and trek to Gorson Bugyal
Post breakfast, leave Auli to Gorson bugyal and cover the distance of 6 km to reach there. It is the starting point of Gorson Bugyal trek. On the way catch glimpses of lofty Himalayan peaks.
After a 3 km trek, reach the wide meadow and get jaw-dropping views of snow-covered peaks of Hathi Ghodi, Kamet, Mana Parvat, Nanda Devi, Dunagiri and Nar Parvat with other peaks, standing in the glory.
Day 4 : Drive from Auli to Dehradun
Wake up to the beautiful vistas in mesmerizing surroundings. Witness the sunrise and post breakfast head towards Auli.
The vehicle will be arranged from Auli to Dehradun
Accommodation: 2 Nights in a Hotel / Homestay in Joshimath on a triple-sharing basis. 3 Nights Tented Accommodation on a triple sharing basis.
Transportation: Surface transfer from Rishikesh – Joshimath – Rishikesh by Sumo / Bolero / Tempo Traveler (Depending on the number of travelers).
Meals: All vegetarian meals from day 1st Dinner to day 6th Breakfast.
Snacks: Morning / Evening Tea / Coffee with light snacks and soup while on the trek.
Camping logistics: Tent, Sleeping bags, Mattresses, Dining tent.
Trek Leader: Qualified and Experienced Trek leader and support staff.
Permits: All necessary fees and permits.
Trekking Equipment: Gaiters, Micro Spikes, and Rope if required.
Safety Equipment: Basic First Aid kit with Oximeter and Oxygen Cylinder.

Cancelling prior 1-6 days from trek dates – 100% deduction As all arrangements are made by transhimalaya and we are set to take you on a trek.
